What is your goal weight?
Ok, I am getting excited about being close to my surgeons goal. His goal for me is 160 and in 13 more pounds I will be there. He says if I want I can go down to 140 before plastics but he doesn't want me below that. He doesn't think it would be healthy. How do u figure out where to stop? When I hit his goal I am going to make an appt with a plastic surgeon he recommended and get that going, but I don't want to stop losing weight at 160, I would at least like to get to 150. I am not even thinking of having plastics until the end of June or first of July so wherever I decide to stop and maintain I will be there for a while. I have already been getting compliments about how slim I am looking and I can finally see it myself. Today I took the dreaded and embarrassing monthly naked pics for my insurance co. I have to do that once a month. To document the skin...Its part of their criteria for approving my plastic procedures although I hate doing it. Its humilating but I can't afford plastics on my own. So, any thoughts, opinions would be great...Where did u stop before plastics? Does plastic surgery remove many "pounds" or just 2-3lbs of skin? I have loads of excess skin so I am thinking 150 before plastics will be good. What do u think? I took some front, side and back pics today also and I can't believe what a difference I see now...Its been amazing...

313/173/150?
My surgeon set a goal weight for me of 140 lbs, which I'm about 17 lbs away from today. When we talked about it, I told him I wanted to go to about 130. He said that I will have about 10-12 lbs of excess skin so if I stop at the 140, then have plastics, that would put me right where I should be. I would bet that you have more than 2-3 lbs of skin going from 300+ to 150. Your best bet is to talk with both your WLS surgeon and the plastic surgeon to determine the best ultimate "goal" weight for you.
Good luck.
