B-12 nasal spray???
I just recently went to my primary care doctor and he took my blood work. Well sugar level fine, thyroid level fine and blood pressure and everything was fine, except by B-12 was very low.
He made me come in for an injection and then he gave me a prescription for a nasal spray i need to spray in one nostril one week and then the next week spray it in the other. so basically one squirt of nasal B-12 spray a week.
I have never heard of B-12 spray and everyone who talks about B-12 either gives themselves a shot or goes to their doctor for a shot.
ANYONE KNOW OF A B-12 NASAL SPRAY?
and if we can absorb it??
Thanks ALL!
Sheryl
either way let me know if you have or have not or know anything about B-12 nasal spray?
It's called Nascobal and if your insurance doesn't cover it-it can be quite expensive. I had insurance at the time and had a $36 copay with it.
We can absorb it, although with me it wasn't keeping my level as high as the doc wanted, so I ended up back on sublinguals. Alot of people in my support group swears by it tho.
Good luck,
Becky
Good news for you.... that spray may be very expensive but there is a great alternative. Vitamin World sells a B-complex liquid sublingual. It test extrodinarily well in labs. Visit there website ad order online. It is fairly inexpensive and will do the same thing as the nasal spray and taste is okay.
I was struggling and then my surgeon switched me. Is is so good that he told me to reduce how much I was taking. (Double what the bottle says- it will boost your energy).
Good luck!
