Two WOW moments - good and bad

Hi all, I have had two wow moments this week, one good and one not so good. I have only lost 1 pound in the last 3 weeks, but I have lost another jean size. I was in a 10 and I am now in an 8. (I weigh 163, 5'5" - I can't imagine how I am in such a small size at this weight). It feels good to know that I am in an 8, but when I look in the mirror, it still just looks like the same old me. Now for the not so great wow moment: my breasts are now a "B" cup. I used to be a DDD - DDDD, and now they are sooooo tiny!! I can barely find them and that's just as well because they look so gross to me. I can not find a bra to fit them. I have been to Victoria Secret, Wal-Mart, and Ross. It is depressing to try on literally about 100 bras and have my breasts still look awful. Sorry to grip, I am glad to be losing weight. I just didn't want the majority of it to come from my formally nice rack. (ha-ha) Have any of you solved this problem? Becky

Becky, Congrats on your weight loss! I wonder how that pants thing happens. I also have only lost 2 lbs this month but feel like my pants are getting bigger and no its not due to exercise cuz my lazy butt doesnt exercise!! And as far as the boob thing goes..well ya heard of people joking about golf balls in panty hose!! Well I think thats what I got going on!!! lol!!! I really didnt have much to begin with and really hated losing what little I did have but hey,, if it means getting rid of this other person that Ive been carrying around and her taking the boobs with her...so be it!!! She can have them!!!! I ll take the padded bras over her anyday!!! Congrats on all your hard work!!! Patti 270/180/160ish

Becky, Have you been fitted/measured? I was buying 40C's and they were big on me and just flopping around on me and I went to Lane Bryant to be measured properly- I wear a 42D in the lightly padded bra and it fits perfectly. The lady even picked me out 2 styles based on how much coverage I told her I would like and I tryed them both on. They were $34.50 each but they make such a difference in my clothes you would not believe it. I think they go down to a 34 or 36 and I know they have a B cup- right now they are but 2 get 2 free. Thanks for your replies. I finally found a good bra for me at JCPenny's. It is one of their cheapest models, and I bought 4 of them. I wanted to buy more, but I could actually lose more of my chest in the future, so I didn't. They are a 36 C, so the cup is slightly too big, but after all these bra fiascos, I don't really mind. (The bra is considered "full-figured, so I couldn't get a B cup). I am so relieved to have bras that fit me and looks good! Becky

Hi Becky, You are looking great! Congratulations on your accomplishments! I hear you about the "not so great" wow moment - I never did have a big bust, a C cup, but I am somewhere between an A and a B now, and it is not pretty. I am still sort of large around my middle, need a 40 band, so 40B? Not so much. I have found pretty styles & good fits from both Bali and Wacoal, which you can find in most nice department stores. Maybe they will have something that works for you. Too bad we can't have a little more influence over the weight-loss fairy - I have noticed the most drastic change in my boobs & FEET, when most of my body fat is in my mid-section. Go figger! Take care & let us know how things work out for you! Kathy

Thanks for the advice. I have tried Bali, but not Wacoal. In fact, I haven't even heard of it. I will check it out when I need bras again. I lost weight in my feet, too, so now they fit into shoes better. I am surprised by all the places that I needed to lose weight. You are looking great, also! Thanks for posting- sometimes I need a lot of reassurance! Becky

Becky, After having a bra and panties collection from Lane Bryant in my size 26/28 behind and 46 D bust in every color of the rainbow going down to just black white and beige has been a real heart ache for me. But going from size 28 or 30 jeans to a size 11 Tall Junior in less than a year sure has been great :- ) I found that I got fitted for my bras at the more expensive stores and found the sizes that fit me the best, then went to TJ Maxx and Marshalls to get the same brand bras at a deep discount price. Those stores carry Waocol, Bali, Natori and even some Victorias Secret brand bras and underwear. I may be limiting myself at this time to the basic colors but I have the greatest collection of pretty camis ( to keep warm) and panties that they make. I also found these great cami's that are called Body by Ganz, that have a built in support like bra that are wonderful they make it so you don't even have to wear a bra under sweaters which actually feel good once in a while Especially since my girls have decided to moved down a size C apartment from their former size D and they are quickly looking at that B trust me, cause they look like two fried eggs when I lay down now, but thats OK cause their former friend the BIG FAT TUMMY moved out too and she is getting flatter every day Jill

Jill, You are very funny! Thanks for the info, I had forgotten all about TJ Max. You are also the second person to mention Waocol. It must be a good bra. I did find something good about having such a small cup size today: I can wear size small shirts! I remember all times that I shopped the clearance rack and all that was left were smalls and I would be so annoyed, thinking "Who in the world can actually wear a small?" Now, I can buy those leftover smalls for $3-$5. I can hardly believe it. It never occured to me that there was a positive side to a "B" cup. I am feeling better about it, and I thank you and everyone else that has posted and helped me to see that everything would work out! Becky

I have had the same problem with shrinking bustline! Mine was never that big to start with, but I cannot even fill a B cup now (band size still around 38-40). I have looked endlessly for a bra that fits and is comfy. I have found a very few in this size range that work for me, but Bali makes some nice ones, and also Wacoal, both available at finer department stores. If there is a solution, I'd love to hear it! Best of luck to you, Kathy
