NO SEX DRIVE !!!! I need Help

Hello all I have another problem. I have NO SEX DRIVE!!! And I believe that is a serious problem. I am 27yrs old I will be 28 on Jan. 31st. I had surgery 3/3/05 starting wieght was 315lbs I currently wiegh 189lbs. Please someone tell me what could be the problem when I first started losing wieght my sex drive became so much higher but I would say maybe around my 5th month out I noticed that I was more and more not interested in anything sexual and that means everything, not just intercourse either. I mean nothing. Does anyone have an answer, I need serious help. Thanks Tyshea 315/189/150

Funny you should post this. Just this morning I recieved my newsletter from livingafterwls (another web site I have found)and the topic is sex after wls. It does state that researchers have found that some women experience a loss of sex drive during and after massive weight loss due to the loss of estrogen levels. Estrogen is stored in your fat cells. So you may want to check with you primary care doc and see what he can find out and if that's the case he could probably offer some kind of treatment. GOOD LUK!!

Oh man....my poor hubby...I have no sex drive either!!! My gyn said it would come back within the year...laugh...not sure hubby can wait that long!!!! Michelle
