OK--I am alsot at a point where I want to say GOD I GIVE. Seems like for two months I have been on this non-stop yo-yo ride where I lose a few and gain a few. I can not STAND IT ANY MORE. Is there anything out there that have helped any of yall in this predictament? I am stuck at -115 pounds with almost 8 and a half months out. I feel like I am gonna be stuck here forever I have recently started exericising more. I was just getting my walks in but now I exercise 20 mins a nite. I am boosting my protein and trying to get my water in the best I can. Sorry about my rambling along...I just need some ideas I know---one suggestion would be to throw that dam scale out. I can't help myself, but I have finally done it thank god Any suggestions are most helpful Thanks in advance, Becky

Becky, Just look at how far you've come in such a short time. 115 pounds in 8 1/2 months is pretty darn good if you ask me. Your body might be just adjusting to the rapid weight loss. I tend to lose weight in spurts. Nothing Monday thru Thursday then 1 or 2 pounds over the weekend. Are you sure you are eating enough? Do you know approx. how many calories you are taking in? Have you measured yourself? Perhaps you are losing inches or your weight is shifting. Just hang in there and don't get discouraged. I see you joined our exercise challenge. That will be an incentive. I think you have done great. corgimom 306/186/135

Hi Corgimom Thanks...don't get me wrong. I am very proud of myself...and sometimes it is hard to beleive just how far I have come. I really hope I am jsut having a time {my body that is } reasjusting to all the weight I have lost. It is just that I am an impatient person. Just a trait that I cant seem to dodge, especially as of late. I am trying to get myself motivated into doing more to maybe help jump start myself into lo0sing for good and not losing then gaining it back. As far as measuring...no I havent been measuring, maybe I should be. Well--as far as the calories. Yeah i have been keeping track of them--I even get the comment from people that it looks like I dont eat anything. I tell them I feel like I have ate to much at time but for some reason I really dont think it is that. Anyhoo--it is just me ya know. That is why I was wanting some suggestion. I have contacted our local OH support group here in my town {members from this board in the local area} and am trying to get a walking group together. I am also an avid watcher of FITTV on Direct TV. I found a few exercise shows on there I watch plus I just love getting new ideas of cooking from Blaine Low Carb Kitchen. Ok I have rambled enough...thanks for the encouragement. I really appreciate it. Becky

I posted last week about this same problem. I am trying the plateau buster diet this week to try to kick start my weightloss. It has been very frustrating though.... I feel your pain. Scarlette

I think we're all in that same boat. I've just committed to going back to keeping my food diary to ensure I'm getting enough protein and water and to help track the carbs so I don't sabotage myself everyday. Also, I need the accountability of having to write down everything that I put in my mouth. I've gotten complacent recently, things aren't so "new" anymore and I'm tolerating just about everything so it was getting very easy to get off track. Keep up the GREAT work, 115 lbs in 8 months is awesome. I've only lost 100 lbs in that time. With all the support from everyone here, we'll make it to our goals.
