Hair loss question
Hey everyone, my hair was falling out pretty bad but it slowed down and its not falling out as bad. My problem now is, its so thin! I had gotten it cut shorter in July and it hadn't grown much at all. Yesterday I had it trimmed because it was too long to style and too short to do much else with. Is there anything out there to help boost it back up? I used to have thick hair whether it was long or short and now its thin. The lady who cut my hair wanted me to buy something from her salon, Nioxin (sp?) Is there anything that has helped put life back into your alls hair?
Thanks
Angela

The only thing you can do is use a product that makes the hair seem thicker. I have short curly hair and I found that AG re-coil works for me. I also found that not washing it every other day rather then every day helps I always seem to get more fullness on the second day. I don't think the nioxin is worth it since the hairloss is a normal result of the weight loss and will come back on it's own, just look for a product that will make the hair fuller. I also think blowdrying helps. Good Luck and don't worry we are all in the same boat. My hair has always been my life but what's a few strands in comparison to what I have gained or lost for that matter.

Well my problem is my hair was falling out, then it slowed down and now its back again...with a vengeance!!! It stinks!! I even have short stubs in with my longer hair on the top!! People ask me if I got my hair cut that see me all the time!! It stinks and I take vitamins and nothing is changing!! If you find an answer let me know!!!

Hi Patti, I bought me some Zinc pills today and some shampoo from the Rogaine people. I have new hair growth, its just not growing very fast, lol. I will let ya know how this works. If the shampoo, Progaine, doesn't work I am going to try some Nurti-ox that is supposed to be similar to Nioxin...Cheaper too!
