Wow Moment!

One of my co-workers has been on maternity leave since about a month after I had my surgery. She came back to work today, and as I walked past her office, she said "OMG Michelle is that you??? You're so TINY!!" I was flabberghasted, I had forgotten that she hadn't seen me since then. Now I'm a little nervous about going home for Thanksgiving, as I know I'm going to get quite a few reactions like that. (I'm not used to getting attention!) Michelle 277/178/150?

It's flattering and wonderful to get compliments on our weight loss, but then it also can be uncomfortable being the center of attention. I love getting compliments, but I also don't like it too probably because of what you said before about not being used to getting positive attention like that. I'm used to getting compliments on things I do (events, parties, work, etc.) but not used to getting compliments on my body. I love it, but then on the other hand, I have issues too. Yes, it is truly amazing the compliments from those who don't see us regularly. My son is in the Navy, he saw me for the first time last week in about 4 mos. He asked me, where was the rest of me?
