Another thing I've "read" is that increased work-out/exercise can stall the weight loss by building muscle as fat is being lost ... keeping weight loss happening. For me, I've added strength therapy (back, legs and hips are weakened), three days a week of water aerobics, two days a week of a self-paced exercise class, and walking 4 times a week. (Wayyyyyy more than I've been able to do in years!) My body continues to change, even though my weight loss has been stalled out, so I'm hoping that it's just switching muscle tone for fat that's been keeping me stalled on weight loss. I am so grateful to see your post. I am 6.5 months post op and have only lost about 35 pounds. I have stalled right where you are at too. Its nice to hear that others are having the same difficulties. I feel like such a failure and quesiton why did I even bother with this. Then I tell myself, at least I'm not gaining 10 pounds at a time!

You are not alone. I go up and down as well. Try not to weigh daily, but it's hard sometimes not too esp when we aren't losing. Hang in there. The weight will come off again!! This is normal! Trisha
