i've never heard of that, might be interesting to find out! i'll have to see if there's any place around here that does it. if anything i'd like to know my body fat percentage, i've been taking taekwondo and doing a little weight lifting, and i know that has to have had at least some impact on my weight distribution. so 137 sounds low to you too, huh? i'm at 180 now and my hip bones are protruding, so i don't know if my pants size can get much smaller--i've got breeder hips! i'm almost tempted to start the process of getting a referral to a plastic surgeon the moment i hit a normal BMI (i think it's 160 for 5'7) as i'll only have insurance coverage for the panniculectomy until june. i don't think it would make a huge difference if i lost a little more after that anyway. anys, thanks for the underwater weighing tip!

Michelle, You are doing so well, and you look fabulous -don't get discouraged. Before I answered your post I looked up the appropriate weight for female height 5'7" and found the following: Small frame 123-136 Medium frame 133-144 Large frame 143-163 Also, you have to take into account the weight of your excess skin. When I went to my doctor for my 6 month check-up I weighed 157lbs (I'm 5ft 2 3/4 inches tall) He told me that I would be at goal losing to 150lbs because I have at least 15 pounds of skin to be removed. So now when I weigh myself-I mentally deduct the 15lbs of extra skin I'm carrying for my "true" weight. That was extremely helpful to me as I tried to reach my goal. I am now 150lbs and am looking forward to plastic surgery to be rid of my 15 pounds of skin. Best of luck-and I hope this is helpful! Meg
