My surgeons office told me if I wanted to try a water pill like Diurex this time with my period I could. They didn't say it would be guaranteed to make keep losing while my monthly visitor is here, but it could help. I started it today. I took one after breakfast this morning and notice that I seem to be going to the bathroom a little more. If this is going to help with the water weight gain, bloating, etc when should I notice? I usually weigh when I get up in the am. I weighed this morning and if this works I hope to have lost a pound or two by in the morning. Is one day too soon for it to help? Angela, Weighing every day can make us nuts!! My doc gave me a water pill to take around my period but because I was having blood pressure issues due to the fluid retention. I would recommend weighing only once a week though, it's a great way to see a lot of progress in a little amount of time. Toni
