I wrote many moons ago re"my surgery battles.Well, finally had my open RNY in March 2005..have lost 130# since and feel great.I will admit initially I thought,"What the heck have I done?"...."What was I thinking???!!!"Big adjustment..but worth it.I was to go on insulin, had severe spinal stenosis.and high B/P..as a nurse,I was barely able to function in my chosen field if ER nursing...now I am reborn!!!! I love the new me...it just takes time, patience and understanding....I am healthier and happier now and plan to stay that way,Linda

Oh wow! What a total turn around!! Congrats! I know it's common for some patients to have regret initially after surgery. It didn't happen to me, but I know several others here locally that it did happen to. Congrats on your progress and improving your health!! Wow! Keep up the good work!! Trisha -106 lbs
