This is getting old!!!
Hi Patti,
I hope this helps, I know it helps me to know that I'm not the ony one going threw the same things as others are. I am at another plateau also...since surgery I have only lost 52 lbs. I know that I shouldn't complain about a 52 lb loss but when you read about others loosing twice that amount, I know it makes me feel like a failure, and it does make you frustrated. Just remember, your not the only one who feels this way...theres more of us out there!

Hi Patti,
You know they say muscle weighs more than fat and you stated that you go to the gym and you're very muscular and tone. I've not exercised at all since I've had this surgery and I've lost 94lbs but my muscle tone and sagging skin is aweful. Yes I look great in clothes but take them off and it's like, run for this hills because my body is scarrrrryyyyy. I'm going to need a total body lift because, and I admit it, I'm so lazy. I'm gone 11 hours a day working and the rest of my time I use for resting, cleaning, and doing things that make me happy. If I were you I would be happy with the weight that you've lost and knowing that you are probably very fit and you have lean muscles that are TIGHT!
Keep up all your hard work. It will all pay off in the end.
Hang in there,

Hi Deborah,
No actually I am there with you!! I dont really exercize at all!! I wal****asionally but thats about it! I am gone most of the time too with my kids in almost every sport they can get into!! I know it would help if I would kick it up a notch and start exercizing but I feel like I never have the time!! Oh well..maybe the kids will slow down this winter and I can try something!! But I cant see them slowing down!!!
Thanks for the encouragement!!
Patti
I totally agree with you. I have not lost a pound in 3 weeks, and my surgery was March 30th. I am very concerned about my old habits coming back. I teach school, and since school started, I want to much all of the time. I don't even feel really full after a meal. I am so worried that I am ruining all the good that has been done because I don't use self-control. Cheri
Hi Patti, Its amazing to read these posts and see that there are too many of us going through similar plateaus. I am thinking some of us really do just lose quick at first and then slow and steady afterwards.
Today I have started with not drinking within time period of eating, that is so hard for me to stick to. But if it does wash our foods out quicker than makes sence Im gonna be hungry again quicker. I also am back to the peanuts, instead of crackers, I so love those carbs. I also do not do the excersizing, (dont do anything I cant spell) The replies to my post on frustration really helped yesterday and I just want to let everyone here know that I really feel based on reading old posts and going to profiles of others who have been successful and seeing they had some awful stalls too, that we are all going to be okay. I really see us in just a few short months telling post opts of 4-6 months that we have been there and we know they will succeed like we now have!. Cant wait till then so we can all be excited. Of course if I go with my own nature I will be in despair because Im at another stall. lol But if I am remind me of this stall that I got over!
