5 months post-op lost 65lbs as of last week.I think my weight lost is slow considering I got sick in july and had to go in the hospital for two week.I have read some of the post and see there weight loss is outstanding than me. I try eat more than 60-85g protein ,drink plenty of water and exercise 3 time a week.Don't get me wrong,I love what I see in mirror size 18/16 which is pretty good.So I guess I'm doing good. Claire

Claire, From your profile, it looks like you weighed about the same as me on the day of your surgery. Even tho I have lost more pounds, we are wearing the same the size now. That must mean that you carry your weight well, which is more important than what you actually weigh. Your protein, exercise, and water look fine to me - keep up the great work! Becky

Claire, I too have only lost 65 lbs since my surgery, but I'm pleased with the outcome so far and try not not to focus on numbers, but how I look and feel in my clothes. I'm down to wearing 12-14 size clothing. YOU'RE DOING GREAT!!!! Karla
