produding Pouch

The upper part of my stomach under the breast where I beleive my pouch is located produdes outward, I have noticed it more now in the past two months cause it show through my shirts. Any one else notice this in themselves?

My surgeon said that my pouch is not against the skin, but is deeper in our bodies - so it can't protrude. I feel a lump a couple inches under my sternum too and I asked my surgeon about it. He said that is my xyphoid process (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xyphoid_process) and that it's always been there. I just haven't felt or seen it before because of my morbid obesity. He said that there'll be other things I'll be discovering about my body the more I lose. LOL He said it's normal. I dont' know about it showing through shirts though. Ask your surgeon. This board always has somthing I can relate to! I told my husband that I was concerned about this huge lump protruding from below my left breast. He said it was my zyphoid process. If I sit here at the computer it gets big and protrudes, I stand up and can put my fingers around it and click click click it back to where it cant be seen! went to the Doctors and Yep zyphoid process. She said dont move it around though cause it can become arthritic. Other than that not to worry about it. I have a protrusion on my middle left side, husband says its my hip!!!!!!!!!!!!! wooooo hooooooo
