Poll: Month 5 How Was It?
Well I'm still in it (had surgery 3/28), but I too experienced the stall and started to almost panic. Seemed like no matter what I tried, the scale wouldn't budge. Finally, I dropped 2 lbs. I've lost 83 lbs so far, so I am NOT complaining, but I still want to drop about another 40-45. Hair loss, yes, but my hair is loose curly so I don't think it's been too noticeable. I LOVE the energy I have now. I wear myself out s ometimes and accomplish so much more! Here's to a great month #6 for all of us!
Hi! Month five is moving along great. I am down 105, and at the moment fighting the same 3 pounds back and forth. very annoying.
I've been doing water aerobics and just started step aerobics (OMG I can't figure out the crossover and reverses!).
Head hunger has been an issue for me, however I've been doing well with it. SF popsicles are my best friend.
I am down from a 32 in pants to a 22, which is currently bagging on me, so maybe less. I haven't replaced any of my (5/4x) shirts yet, because I like them baggy...but they will have to go soon, I think.
I work with mechanics and they are great supporters to have around...I get compliments every day .
It good to see everyone doing so well!

Hi fellow Marchers!!!!
I know I am not around all that much but I do try to stop in atleast once a month and see how all of you are doing! Life has never been better. I can not believe this new energetic, life loving person I have become. I have lost 93 lbs (317 to 224.5) I also love the clothes baggy so I am wearing 22/24's and alot of the same shirts 28. I get yelled at alot though that things are just hanging on me. I work in a Dr's office and have for 5 yrs so many of our patients know me well... I get bombarded with compliments and questions everyday. The compliments are wonderful and I proudly tell them that I had the surgery. My hair has been falling out horribly it really is so thin now... not what I am use to and I keep telling hubby I have really should get the long hair cut so it lessens the pulling. But he pouts and I really dont want to cut it either. Sometimes I am so afraid its going to stop that I pray and pray that I dont screw it up. I am so happy for all of us! Everyone Keep up the good work.
Well, I had a few scarry moments battling malnutrition , then was forced to gain some weight to reverse effects and back to losing again. I have last 80 lbs since surgery and went from a tight 26 to a comfy 16. I am so thrilled that things have turned around and I am actually starting to dream again. I finally made it to onderland but still not sure if I believe it.
This was worth the challenges along the way!!!!!!
Hello Melanie;
How good it is to see other Marchers succeeding. I weigh and measure myself every 26th of each month and this month I now lost 72lbs. and 55 3/4 inches. I am now at 219. I weigh less than my husband, 3 kids, and my own mother. I am not complaining. I tried sending you a picture to let you see my length of hair. It is short but it is still coming out especially when I wash my hair. It gets all over me and my towel. So if I loose a lot it won't matter to me. With my short hair who is going to notice? I haven't done much excercising. Not anyplace to go to around here. People that I see in church and around this tiny town have all complimented me about how nice I am looking. Believe me I am eating it up and enjoying it.
