Ahh..the little things...
Its really neat how such small things can excite me now!! I got on the scales this morning and I lost a whopping 1 lb!! Now normally that would kinda bum me out but the way I see it, I only have 1 more to go to hit the "Onederfuls"!! That put me at 200!! 70 lbs down!!! and 30 to go for my own goal!! Life is good!! My 7 yr old came up to me last nite and put his arms around me and said cool mommy,, I can put my arms all the way around you now!! This is really alot of fun!! And I really like to come in here and read all the posts. Everyone here is so encouraging and helpful! You all are wonderful!! (can ya tell Im in a good mood today?)
Patti,
You will be there soooo soon!!! Oh my goodness I would be on the scale every hour...lol...Im obsessive like that...lol. When I got under 200 I told my kiddos I would take them to Chuck E Cheese...they were routing me on every day...LOL. Let us know when the big moment happens!!!!!

Michelle,
I AM on the scales every hour!! Not really, but I am terrible with them!! I get on there at nite and see 3 or 4 lbs up and get upset, knowing that you NEVER weigh yourself at nite!! I weigh myself every morning ( in the buff,,of course!!) before my shower, and I sometimes want to throw those scales out!! I had my boys hide them from me a couple of weeks ago for about 5 days and I think I had withdrawels!!!! It drove me crazy!!
Thanks for the encouragement and you guys will be among the first to know!!
Patti
I am right with you--I weigh every morning. I just can't resist it. Try not to get too bummed if I don't lose, but was sure glad to begin passing my 3-4 week plateau! I have lost 73 lbs wiht 45 to go and my husband and son like the difference in hugging me, too (so do I!). The little things definitely provide excitement every day like bending over to tie my shoe without problems or looking down and noticing how small my legs/arms/hands look, even my shoes getting too big is much appreciated! Every time a pair of pants gets loose, I'm surprised, but overjoyed. I just looked at my before and 4-month after pictures together yesterday and, boy, it felt good. Good luck!
