Stalled out losers CLUB!!
Well here it is. Everyone who posted their frustration can post here so we can stick together. I got up this morning to see a freaking 2xx on the scale again this morning. This is not cool!! I am working my butt off and nothing on that evil evil scale!!
Lets support each other!! Maybe we should have our own board!!
Amy,
I agree with you. I am still stuck, only not quite as long as others or as badly. I really dont mine losing slowly since I really only have a little over 100 lbs all together to go and have made it 55lbs so far. I still get discouraged though if I dont lose at least a lb a week....and that hasnt been the case in about 2 weeks. Well..I am here for support for all the others who are in the stalled losers club!

I am really getting frustrated too! I have been in a stall for 3 weeks. I have lost 66 pounds so far. I need to loose 30 more and I am done. Why oh why? I have been getting in tons of protein and exercising. Oh well I guess that is what a STALL is all about! Help!!

Who else is in this crazy stall?
I have been stuck at 220lbs for 12, count 'em 12 weeks now. I am frustrated, disappointed, depressed, sick at heart and feelign totally hopeless. I posted under No Loss Since May, or something. I've had it. I ate 26 mini charleston chews today, w hich put me to sleep. It was lovely to sleep like I was drugged and not think about this. But it was also about 350 calories I wasted on crap that's not good for me, so that won't be happening again.
Good luck to everyone who is stalled. May it break for all of us soon.

I also am in a stall and was in a six week stall 2 weeks after surgery. I'm trying to take pleasure in other victories and that helps a lot. Today, I tried on some fall suits I hadn't worn for almost 4 years. I was pleasantly surprised that the size 18s not only fit, they are already on their way to being too roomy. That is a miracle. You know, I have really enjoyed this board. It was very helpful in the first months after surgery. I've come to the conclusion, though, that reading posts here have become counterproductive for me. I'm really happy for all the people who have lost 100 pounds, but, when I read those posts, negative voices pop up in my head, "What's wrong with you that you aren't losing faster? Maybe the surgery hasn't worked for me., etc." I don't need those voices. Somehow reading how much others have lost on other boards doesn't needle me the same way it does here with all my monthmates, so I think I'm going read posts on other boards from now on.
I can definitly relate. I've been stuck on 80lbs for about 4 wks now.I'm beginning to think that I'm done losing. But my Doc said I should be at goal by Christmas. That's another 88lbs to go. To my dismay I don't know if I'm going to make it there or not. I do have to say though that I am very happy wearing a size 18. I would love to wear a 12 and maybe some day I will. But seeing that so many of my peers are in a rut right now maybe this is normal and we'll all move on.
Good luck to all!

I can very much relate myself Can't say that I am disappointed though. I have been stuck at 100 pounds for 3 weeks now and am very pleased with my lose so far. I have been told this is a temporary thing and that when we are not losing weight we are losing inches. I have a friend here that has a plateau buster that is suppose to help in these situations. I am gonna try it andif it works I will let you all know.....I have heard people say that it works so who knows.
Lets not let this get us down people...this surgery is a great thing for us and we have seen what can happen in having it.
Good luck to you all my fellow marchers and here is to getting off that dang plateau and back to being losers very soon!
