I plateau every time I LOSE!!!! AGGGG!!!!
You are doing awesome!!! I know it can be very frustruating when you "plateau" unfortunately that is something we all have to deal with. I tend to do the same thing u do... I lose and then "plateau" and sometimes I even yo-yo up and down 1-2 pounds every once in awhile. Hang in there girl!!! Congrats to u on your success so far... I looked at your profile and u look great! Keep it up

Jessica,
I do the same thing. It is soooooo frustrating. I am down 57 lbs but it isn't fast enough for me either! But look we have lost alot so far lets not get discouraged it will come off. As a matter of fact I haven't started exercising like I should have. But today I got on my elliptical and did 5 minutes worth. I have told myself to get on the damn thing everyday. I will slowly increase my time of course. I figure this is going to help me speed up the process. I read on this site about a ladywho did this to speed up her weight loss and it worked real well for her.
I wouldn't recommend throwing away your scale. You need this to measure your progress. It also keeps us honest! Before I had the surgery I never weighed myself because I knew it would really get me down. We have nothing to fear about anymore we have our tool to help us.YEAH!!!

Thank you soo much for posting this, this is just the information I came in here to find! I too will drop a few then plateau for at least a week. I also have the couple of pound variant that goes with it, GRR! Last week I dropped 7 pounds, but have been kicking the last three of those around ever since. My surgery was on 3-11 (4 months today) and since last month I am only down 4 pounds, (at max loss 6) I walk 2 to 6 miles about 4 days per week, and try to supplement with quick 2-mile bike rides, lots of water, but I am kind of a protein slacker. I have no powder right now (on it's way...), so I'm trying to supplement with the right food choices (tough!) It is very frustrating, but I know I started smaller (about 100 to lose total) and, I know it is more healthy for our bodies to lose slowly - less shock! My docs say all is good, so I'm trying not to worry too much. Please know you are not alone here, you are doing great, keep up the good work!
