I had my RNY on March 21....
I had my RNY on March 21...I have lost 53 pounds since then...But
I haven't lost any weight Since June 9th...I was -53 on June 9th and nothing since..I am drinking water,walking,working with a trainer twice a week,and nothing....I have had severe constipation..Could it be because of this that I am not losing?.I mean,since everything goes right through us,is mine being stuck here making me absorb all the fat and calories in what goes in me and not coming out?.I see my surgeon on the 8th and am afraid she will tell me I am doing wrong or that I am done...Could this be true,I am feeling like a failure....
Hi Bev, Don't fret, Its normal to run into stints of very little weight loss. As far as the constpation, try adding a bit more fiber in your diet. bran flakes and a few blueberrys work for me. Just remember that the muscle you are putting on working out weighs more than fat so while you may not notice any weight loss at the moment, you will notice your clothes feeling a bit looser. Feeling bones you haven't felt before. I laughed at myself the first time I actually felt my hip bone in a very long time. So relax and keep up the good work! Take Care,
