Deep down inside!!!!
I have always wanted a tattoo! I grew up in a family that no one has one. Also, when my family found out I got my bb pierced, they rolled their eyes.
I am 37 and I really want a tattoo and have come to the decesion that I am an adult and I can do this if I want.
My issue is where to put it? I am in the professional world so I don't need it to show at work. I don't want to put it somewhere where it will be removed by reconstructive surgery. My girls, tummy and inner thighs. I am fearful of putting it somewhere and my skin will effect the way it looks. Where will be a good place to put it?
Oh yeah, one more thingy ... I love mermaids!! The tat I have chosen is a beautiful mm and she is sexy looking as well. I am a single white female that loves men. Because I'm single and have been single for so long some people have asked me if I'm gay. If I get a tat of a mm would I look gay? Does it matter? Just wanting opions.

Your to funny you will not look gay..and you have to get what you want it will be there for ever and I just got my first tat when I was 37 also LOL just turned 38.I got a butterfly on the inside of my ankle where I can see it if I want and it's not really right out there for others to REALLY SEE..It didn't hurt all to much.If you click my web button and go to pictures you will see it I,drew my own and took it with me..now go get one and let us see... LOL...

What a beautiful tat. I also love the idea of the date of surgery, what meaning and feeling of freedom of so many obstacles, a new beginning!! It is really somethin I want to go ahead and bite the bullet and do, yet ... maybe I should wait until I reach a great weight and have my tt etc.... During the summer time I wear capri's to work .... plus although I am actually an adult, I don't want to disapoint my Mom. She does so much to help me and my girls.

You really are too funny!! have you thought about maybe getting one on your lower back? I dont think that part of our bodies will be too flabby!! lol..plus you can hide it when you want and show it with short shirts when we have our sexy new bodies!!! lol !!! I have one on my ankle but Ive had mind for several years!!
And those people will see how gay your NOT when all the men start knocking at your door because of the new you!! Next you will be called a you know what!! lol!!! Let em talk...that way they are leaving someone else alone!!!

I like the idea of having it on the small of my back ... a thought. I don't think there is anywhere else to put it, unless I put it at the bottom of my neck and I don't think I like that.

I say get the tat and wear it proudly. I'm going to get on on my 1 yr anniversary, I can't wait!! It's going to be a pheonix rising from the ashes and have my surgery date underneath. I will be putting it right between my shoulders at the base of my neck, just low enough so my collar will cover it. I too work in a professional office so I understand not being able to have it somewhere that is too visible.
Tat's are a personal expression that don't have anything to do with gay or straight. They are symbolic with a different meaning for each individual. So, go get inked.
