another plateu!?
Gayle, I am in the same boat you are in!! I have lost 50 pounds and can't get below the 179 mark! this is also my second plateu with the first one landing around the end of April! I find it VERY frustrating. I am excercising, watching what I drink and I struggle to get the protein in, but I try EVERY day! So, I guess we must travel this road and pray that the plateu will break! JK
YESSSSSSSS!!! I keep hitting a plateau just when I start losing good...but I finally moved 2 more lbs after 2 weeks. And during the time i was plateauing, I was exercising so go figure. Most be this stage, but I am down from a 24/26 to a pretty loose 18...woohooo...that is the good thing.
Hope to get off the plateau wagon soon!!!!

I've had two plateaus in the 13 weeks since my surgery. The first lasted for 3 weeks, then I lost a bit, and now I'm stuck at 220lbs for about the last 4 weeks. I do what I'm supposed to do - 750-1000 calories a day, 60-100 oz of water a day, 60-80g of protein a day, and exercise like a fiend 4-5 times a week, and walk my dog 2 miles a day every day. I also work full time and have a 3 hour a day commute. I don't know what's going on, but I'm really depressed about this and about to see my shrink. My program isn't offering any suggestions, so I'm at a loss as to what to do to improve this! I'm thinking now I maybe need more sleep as I've been getting only 5-6 hours a night, and I need at least 7. Any other suggestions? Thanks!

I am down 42 pounds in three months and have been at this weight for at least 2 weeks. This is also the second time for me. I am glad for the 42 pounds but it is not enough. I struggle with the protien and water but do pretty good. I do water aerobics 5-6 days a week for 1 to 2 hours each day. I sure hope I do not fail in this weight lose attempt.
