Although we arent supposed to have them, I have tried it a few times, but I dont like the feeling I get with the carbonation. Best if you can handle it to shake it and let the carbonation out, but I just dont like the carbonation fullness I get when I try to drink it. I stick to my crystal light and unsweet tea.

I haven't tried it but my daughter did and she did just fine with it. Krystal at Dr. Bright's told her that doc doesn't care if we drink it but it will make us burp all the time. Doc bright told me that he would prefer we don't drink it but only because it leads to other bad habits like grazing on chips, prezels or whatever. So take it as you wish. Khrystal amazes me as everything she has told my daughter is different from what she told me! Go figure!

I was told by my Doc to stay away from carbonated beverages that they expand your pouch and give you gas. I personally don't want to expand my pouch unless it comes later down the line after I've hit my goal weight. I have personally gone through too much to get healthy to let a can of soda ruin it for me. I won't even take the chance it's not worth it. and believe me I loved my diet Coke. I drank 3-6 every day and I do miss it but not at the cost of my health again. Also, soda has a lot of sodium in it as well so there's water retinition as well.
