RNY question

I had an open RNY and no drainage tube.

I had LAP RNY and did not have to have a drain. Bonnie

I had the open RNY and they took the tube out the day I went home

I had the open RNY and I came out of surgery with 2 drains. (My Dr does this on all his patients.) One came out in the hospital and the other one week later when the stiches came out. Its amazing how much came out of those things... there is my 2 cents... Tara

Hello Nikki, I had RNY and had no tubes other than the cath which they removed the very next day. Deborah W.
