Eating/Drinking Schedule

Do any of you use a schedule for your meals and drinks? I'm on a computer all day at work and the time just gets away from me. Before I know it, it's time to eat lunch and I haven't been drinking anything. It's getting to be a vicious cycle for me. I'm not getting in enough protien or fluids. Suzanne

Try setting a timer. My computer has a calendar that I can set to alert me to things. Also, put rubberbands around your water bottle and move one when you drink a cup (or 1/2 c) of it. It's a great visual. Hugggs, Heidi

Invest in one of those little kitchen timers (the battery operated kind, so you aren't driving yourself and your coworkers batty with "tickticktick" all day long) and set it for 15 minutes or so. Take a sip and reset. This will also give you a better idea of time so that you can think about when you have to stop drinking to prepare to eat and vice-versa.

You could try using the calendar in Outlook to make reminders. I have the same problem, I need to work on it myself.

I have had the same problem getting in my fluids and protein shakes... something I definitely need to work on. I think a timer would work- I am going to try that! Good luck Bonnie
