1. corn on the cob 2. popcorn I have been craving both of them. However, I'm chicken to try either of them. It feels like summer here and I'm associating the time of year with the food when it comes to the corn on the cob. The popcorn was just one of my favorite snacks and I kind of miss it. What do you think? Cheryl

Cheryl, I have tried both corn on the cob and popcorn with no problems. I stayed away from them until about 10 days ago. I only have a couple pieces of popcorn and I chew it very well. I haven't had any problems with any food (knock on wood) so because I am a big corn eater, I couldn't wait to try some corn on the cob. Good luck corgimom

Thanks for the input. I may try some soon. Your surgery date is three weeks before mine, so maybe I'll wait another week. When the corn is local, I'm going to have to try it. LOL Cheryl

Hi Cheryl, I tried popcorn tonight and it went down just fine and that was after being so sick from those beans at the graduation party Popcorn feels okay so far and it has been about an hour since I ate it. Roxi

POPCORN is glorious---In order to control myself I bought some microwave snack bags that have 100 calories in each bag ---YUMMY--and you will be surprised how much you can eat---minces down to nothing you know--thats why I got the bag that way-----corn--have only tried in soup==sort of chicken on that one--but hey--what the heck--might try! Oops! the reply above this was for Roxi. This one is for Lisa. Thanks for letting me know that popcorn is OK. I'm going to try it today. I guess that drowning it in butter is out of the question, but I've learned to do without butter on a lot of things that I never thought I would! LOL My pouch is a source of constant surprise = sometimes it's fine with something I've been cautious to try and sometimes it's not so fine with stuff I've been eating for weeks. Cheryl

Well...butter makes it moist. I still have butter on my popcorn and corn on the cob. I know it's fatty and more calories, but it's been okay. Maybe try the I Can't Believe it's Not Butter SPRAY - you'll use less and it's way lower in calories and fat. Hugs, Trisha

None of my replies are coming out where I think they should! I guess I should stop procrastinating and go do some housework. My popcorn will be my treat when that's done!! Cheryl

No problem with popcorn. a few kernels only. But I would'nt DARE try corn on the cob yet. I have a very sensitive pouchie I think. Got sick as a dog on a peice of banana the other day.. Must have ate it too fast, so I'm still learning I used to inhale my food. But eventually i'm gonna learn. Viv
