Hello all, I have these incredible batwings that flop all over the place. Does anyone know how to target these things with exercise? Any suggestions will be helpful!

I am starting to keep the batwings too--I spoke with my doc and because I"m still limited with the exercise, he suggested yoga--it's low impact and streching helps the muscles back into shape without a lot of stress. If you go to your library, they probably have Yoga for Dummies--I really like it and they have some great streching excerses. Hope it helps! Courtney

Try tricep kickbacks and bicep curls. If you go to a gym there is a huge variety of exercises you could choose to target the tricep. It's usually the culprit in batwings. Always exercise both bicep and tricep. It makes for a great looking arm!!! rny 3/15/05

Me too! I feel like if I caught a good head wind I would lift right off the ground! hahaha I talked with a post op friend who had surgery around the same time and she is walking with 2lb weights and it seems to be keeping her batwings under control somewhat. I am starting at the gym at work on Monday and already talked with the trainer, she's going to work on some weight training to tone up. Kirsten
