2 MONTH POST OP UPDATE!
Well it's been 2 months today since I had my surgery. I've lost a total of 50lbs and have gone from a 26/28 to a 20/22. I still don't tolerate meat very well. I take my vitamins everyday like I'm suppose to. I drink my liquids like I'm suppose to. I'm not exercising like I'm suppose to and I need to kick myself in the butt for this and get into gear so I can lose the maximum weight possible. I'll have no one to blame but myself if I don't. I am very happy I have this site to come to and get support and can vent when I have to. Thanks for letting me be a part of all this and for everyones support.

Very funny. I just replied to a post you replied to on one of mine and here you are answering the question I had for you about Curves. So, get there girlfriend. Congratulations on the weight loss! That's so cool. But...... we have to get into good habits, like exercise, so when losing weight's not easy anymore, we have the tools/habits going to keep us losing or at least keep us from gaining. We have to start completely over with new habits. Think of it this way, it will probably take 30 trips to Curves for it to feel like a habit. Thos first 30 trips will probably be the hardest! After that, you may lool forward to going. Or at least, your body will be speaking to you and telling you "Let's go workout. I love it." How many times have you gone? Try to go one more time this week than you did last week. Good luck, Heidi
Hey Deb--My surgery date twin!
Congrats on your big loss---you and I are neck and neck. I"m down about 50 as well. As far as excersicing, I hear ya. I joined a gym and haven't gone as much as a should...interesting side note about the part of 'I don't have anyone to blame but myself..." I just had that experience. Since I had the stricture and was stretched out, I can tolerate more foods (still not the quanity). I"m trying to make better choice, but I have a long way to go. This evening, I was on my way home from going out with friends and I stopped into the convienance store to get a sandwich--2 bites and I knew it wasn't going to go down. I took some antacid and beat the pain. But instead of stopping, I tried to have something else to eat!! (I wasn't even hungry). I started to vomit and now I have HORRID indigestion. Not to mention it's 10 after 2 in the morning!! I'm sitting here thinking to myself..I can't believe I did it to myself. I just made myself sick. Live and learn I guess. But you are so right. We need to step up to the plate and do everything we can to get back our lives. Keep up the good work partner!
