Well here it is May 17th. Doing rather well, starting to do more things such as house work, YUCK!! Oh well, it does have to be done. Since surgery on 3/24/05, I believe things have gone really well. Of course all my info is on my web site. No problems with the surgery at all, had a hard time to bend over to pick things up from the floor for a few weeks, but other than that feel GREAT!!! As of this date I have lost 60 lbs. and can I really notice the difference. I a very greatful and thankful that I haven't had problems that others have had. If someone would ask me if I would recommend the surgery I sure would, just as long as if the person would have their mind made up that this is a life change, and would be able to keep up with it. A couple of times I have had bad pain right in the middle of my chest from swallowing too much or from eating too fast. I now have learned to slow down and enjoy what I have in front of me to eat. What I do to help slow me down is either to knit or crochet during my meals, so far I have a lot of scarves done with a couple of hats for winter and half of a baby afaghan done. Never the less it does the trick. Bye the way I wish to thank all that had wished me well before my surgery and for all the prayers, thanks again for everything.
