OK...so like I am already TOTALLY depressed today because I feel like I am doing SO bad! I can't get me protein in, my water intake is GREAT and my weight loss is only 40#! I wanted SO badly to be at 50#! Anyway, I wasn't going to join in, but the only thing worse than a pitty party is a party pooper!! So your awesome 4250 + my little 40= 4290!! What a great job you all have done, I hope I can join the rest of you with high totals soon!! Congrats to all of you!! JK

Let's make sure we have it right: It is 2490, not 4290 (though that would be awesome!) Here are some ideas: I eat one Odyssey protein bar per day, which is 30G of protein. You can find frozen salmon burgers that average 15-20 grams of protein, are easy to cook or grill (just like hamburgers) and, with a small amount of tartar sauce, are really good. I have a Trader Joe's near me (if you don't have one near you, try Sam's) and they sell ground buffalo burgers. They are dry, but if you thaw them, mix some low-carb BBQ sauce in, then reform the patties, they are moist, easy to cook (again, like hamburger) and one is 46 GRAMS!!! You have to eat them slowly, but they are excellent. 1/4 C of low-fat cottage cheese is 11 G. I'll take 1/4 C egg beaters, add a handful of shredded cheese and serve with three slices of microwave bacon. Again, it is a lot of food, but it is also nearly 20 G of protein.

I'm a little late, but here's mine...I think I loss 50 before I had to go back to the hospital, but I've gained a ton in water weight, so I'm not coulnting it. I'll tack on 45 2490 + 45= 2535

OK, so I added wrong...lol...I am a teacher! Isn't that the perfect capper for this glorious day!! Anyway, thanks for working it out! I just looked at the total before me and added on...Thanks for the encouragement Greg...I am trying all the foods I know. I do not think there is a trader Joes near me, we don't have Sams either. We only have BJs, I will try there. Does the salmon burger taste like salmon?? I am going to get through this, just reading all these awesome losses makes me feel like I am SOOOO far behind everyone else! I just keep reminding myself that I am almost 50% to my goal!! Only 50 more pounds and I will be there!! So, I will try any and all reasonable advice and keep plugging at my pilates and my ellipse, drinknig water and attempting the protein thing! I do have a question....Why is it that I can eat a plate of salad (with egg and chix) and can not even eat a whole apple (peeled of course!)?? Thanks everyone!! JK

I haven't weighed in 2 weeks but you can safely put me down for another -50 pounds! I bet it's closer to 60-65 but I don't want to cheat on this thing.
