Isopure Protein Powder???
Hi..
Just got back from shopping.
Stopped at GNC and bought a case of Atkins S'mores Protein Bars.. (I love them)
Man in the store mentioned Isopure.. He says it has 50 grams of protein!!!
Problem is I was afraid to buy it cause what if i don't like it.
He says it has a money back guarantee
I want to get some feedback from any of you who have used this product before I buy..
Thanks.
Vivian
Yes, your taste does change alot after surgery.... as for the Isopure... it does have 50 grams of protein per "drink" if you use 2 scoops of the powder which is the same as using many of the others. Basically you double the amount of powder and you double the amount of protein.... It's too strong for me when I add it to 8 oz... so I add it to 12 or 16. Which means that you are still getting about 25 per 8 ox serving. Which is similar to Nectar (23) or Matrix (24?) or Elite (27). So basically its the same... to me anyway... As for taste... its similar to the others....
I agree with Trisha,
I did not care for the Isopure at all. It was fine before surgery, after- well I just couln't take it. To thick and ganular. I much prefer Matrix and Nectar. Nectar does great with plain water which was a big deal for me because milk, even lactaid began to give me trouble post surgery.
www.bariatriceating.com will let you purchase all kinds of samples for $1.75- that really helped me identify what worked best and tasted best.
