What the Heck? Are those hunger pangs?
Hi Cheryl,
Yeah...see you didn't have to cut off a limb afterall! Am glad that the scale is finally going in the right direction again. Mine finally moved too, it probably was a good thing as I was going nuts!
Hope your weekend and your mother's day has been nice. Those five furry babies are awefully proud to have you as momma!
Create a fantastic week!
I thought my stomach growled at 4 weeks out. I looked down and said 'shut up you'. I din't really get any response about it so I thought I was imagining it or something.
Then yesterday I was reading a Vogue magazine (I don't know why I get that stupid magazine, it just ****** me off.), anyway, one of the articles talked about hunger pains and stomach rumbles. I can't quote it exactly, because I am at work, but basically it said it isn't always that you're hungry. Frequently hunger pains and stomach rumbles are the result of "conditioning"-in other words, I love sweets, so I see a hot fudge sundae and my tummy says "gggrrrrr gimme that".
Since the WLS, I have to tell myself, a) I am NOT hungry, I ate XX hours ago, and I would have to wait 30 minutes after my last sip,sip of water to have it. (by that time the craving usually passes) and b) That sundae is not worth the sickness that would surely come from eating such a thing. (I have not tested the waters with sugar-I just avoid it.)
Good luck and have a great week!

You know, I thought I had hunger pangs this week, and my surgery was the day after yours. Darn! They were easy to ignore, though. I am still on the straight and narrow. As far as the scale goes, it has slowed up a lot, but still going down. I still seem to be losing inches, however. It is nice to share experiences on this board, to know you are not alone. Glad you are losing again.
