Hello Marchers!
It has been a while since I have posted on this board, but I wanted to give an update. I will be 8 weeks out tomorrow, I have lost 45 pounds, and went from a TIGHT size 24, to a very loose 18! I am working out everyday and loving it! I stay away from carbs as much as possible, get between 90-100 grams of protein and 64-90 ounces of liquids a day. I have found a wonderful protein ( at least I think it is) that is only 2.7 ounces and packs a whopping 25 grams of protein...couple of sips and it is gone! I try to do everything by my surgeons book, ( as all of them are different). I am not losing pounds very fast, but I am losing sizes...and building muscles!
I get cold spells and hot flashes also, but I attributed those to pre-menopause...LOL ( I have been having that for the last couple of years!)
I have never dumped or even gotten nauseated. I did have chicken get stuck and had to gag myself to get it out. It was chicken breast without skin, and a bit too dry, I think. I am not in a hurry to have that again!
I don't have the constipation problems (knock on wood), and the only thing I can think that is preventing that is, I have a half cup of unsweetened applesauce with a little of Davinci sugar free cinnamon syrup in it for a snack everyday. Talk about Yummy!

Congratulations on your loss - Keep up the good work.
Can you please tell me what kind of protein you found that is good? So far I have been having a problem with my protein. Just can't seem to drink it and how in the world do you get so much water in? That is all I drink and I can't get that much in. You really are doing good. I need to get on the ball so I can improve.
