I just went yesterday for my 1 month follow up. I've lost a total of 36lbs and was told that my protein was fantastic. I really thought I wasn't getting enough protein. I was also eating at a stage 2 and was told that I can be eating at a stage 4. So I skipped stage 3 altogether. Anyways I was totally thrilled that I was told that I'm doing fantastic and to keep doing what I've been doing.

Fantastic! Can you explain what Stage 2,3,4 are for you? Is 2 pureed food and 4 real food?

Hi Donna, you're absolutely right about the various stages...I can now eat a very large variety of different foods...I've still been doing chicken, cottage cheese, string cheese, yogurt and strawberries...yum

So how much protein are you getting in a day? I'm religious about mine and get at least 60 in but feel I should be getting more. Dave

Hi Dave....to answer your ?, I'm getting about 60-70 but my Doc said to try and get 80...Don't know how I'm going to do that...but my Doc's PA said that the more protein you get into your diet the better your weight loss will be...seems odd, you'd think eat less....good luck to you! Deborah W....

I had my 1 month check up today, and it sounds like we are doing the same.. I have been advanced pretty much to normal food. No more protein drinks, no more prrevacid. I can swallow pills now.. 23 pounds gone forever! Yipeeeeeeeeeeeee... Karen

Hi Karen....isn't it a wonderful thing to be getting smaller...I never thought this would happen for me....I was so depressed and felt so ugly...now my self-esteem is going up up up ...I hope you're feeling as good about yourself as I am...I'm sure you are and I'm so happy for you..keep up the good work ...Deborah W.

Hi Deborah, Yes it is so to be a loser! I'm just taking it 1 pound at a time. The first two weeks I found myself getting depressed over the food I couldn't eat, but I got over that really quick thinking about the smaller me in the end... Here's to letting the pounds melt away forever! Good luck on your journey.. Karen
