Becky, I went to the ER last Thursday with a rapid heartbeat and a fever. All the doctors said the rapid heartbeat was the result of dehydration. Make sure you are getting lots of fluids. As for the pills, I have been taking mine whole since about a week out- I could not take the taste of them crushed. FYI- the fever was for a UTI- (no other symptoms) and they kept me for 3 nights- bummer - all is well now and I go back to work Monday. Only one thing- the fluids they gave me made me gain weight- 10 pounds- so far I have 7 of that off but it was very disapointing! Terri
