One month and a day post-op

Hey all I am 32 days post-op and have dropped 53 lbs. I know most of it was water weight since my desent has slowed to like 3-4 lbs a week but hey even at that rate in a yr it will be a great big loss. Just wanted to update on the monthly board too. Bear1415 -53 lbs 03-14-05 new birthday

Congrats! I'm one month today and have lost 27 lbs. It's good to be on the losing side! I've also gotten into two pairs of slacks that I haven't been able to wear in a while!! Life is good! Susie

Congrats! Doesn't matter if it was water or whatever - it's weight that is GONE forever!!! Yay!! You are off to a great start, and you've improved your health and lifespan by having this surgery!! 53 lbs! WOW! Keep up the good work!

Wow that is fantastic! I have lost 24 1/2 pounds since my surgery. I finally gave in and got weighed yesterday. I lost 11 1/2 the first two weeks and then 13 the last three. I figure I am averaging about 5 pounds a week. I would love to have lost more but I will settle for this! I lost 75 pounds before my surgery so I now have a total weight loss of 99 1/2 pounds...Just couldn't drop that 1/2 pound! LOL It will be off by the time I see the doctor on May 3 though! Keep up the great work!!
