Does anyone feel... like "dreamy". Well, this is how I feel. Have you ever been on a boat then got off and for a short while still felt the movement of the boat? Well I have this feeling all the time. NO, I am not taking pain meds, been off for week plus. Is it the "starvation mode" or ???. Just wondering. My BP is great so can't be that.

Hi Kathleen, Yes! I know just how that feels. I went back to work at 1 week postop and sat still in my chair and was 'rocking'. I think it's from all the gas and meds still in our systems, or maybe from not having anything with sugar in it. When I bend over or sit down on my bed I feel funny and when I turn my head I hear this tin drum sound. So weird! I hope we get over it soon. I need a clear head to work my 12 hour shifts. Kathleen, I am 2 1/2 weeks out and yes, I have gotten that feeling several times. I don't know what it is but since there are several of us, I'd say it's probably ok. Good luck to you! Terri

I am no expert, believe me, but it sounds like blood sugar fluxuation (sp?) to me. I have real low blood pressure anyway, but when my blood sugar jumps around-as surely ours is at this point-I get this surreal, my feet aren't on the floor feeling now and then. I would say if it continues too long or interferes with your life, contact your doc. Take care
