Question about activity...

Hey, anybody got an idea of how long you have to wait after surgery until you can play golf? I want to play this weekend!

Hey Kevin, I think it is AWESOME that you are feeling SO great so soon! I am 1 month today and feel great also and have since the day I came home from the hospital! I would encourage you to call your Doc and see what the guidelines are! I raked (similar movement as golf) this week end and the part of my incision that is about my belly button came open a bit. When I called the Doc, he said it was from twisting, bending and lifting! So, now I have to be careful so that I don't end up with an infection! CALL your DOC to be safe and if says YES...happy golfing! if not, just remember there will be LOTS of time for golf! JK

Kevin, I asked my surgeon the same question and he said to wait 6 or 7 weeks. You don't want to rip anything open! It's killing me too because we have had beautiful weather. I just know by the time I can golf it will be 120 in the shade! Chris S.
