Hi Audrey, Congratulations on the success. I know what you mean about the milk. I'm trying to eat scrambled eggs (nothing bu****er) and after a bit or two they just stick in my stomach, feels heavy, and makes it a little hard to breathe (have to sit up). Hugggs, Heidi

Hi Audrey! You and I had surgery on the same day!!! And with the same surgeon! How are you feeling? Some days I am feeling good, others not. I can hardly eat at all. My husband keeps telling me I need more calories, but I just can't seem to get them in. Everyone says it gets better, and I hope they are right. I can't drink milk either. But other dairy products settle just fine. Is it the same for you? Take care! Kerri 240lbs (day of surgery) weighed 218 this morning

Good Morning, I called my nurtionist and she told me that I should problem just drink protein drinks since I can't tolerate 2% or 1% either. Some days I feel as though I can't eat or drink anything, I force myself to eat and drink. I hope that you are doing well also. Audrey

Glad you are doing well. Some patients become lactose intolerant after surgery. So find other ways to get your calcium in if you are unable to have milk products. Keep up the good work!! We are rooting for you 100%!

I'm glad you are doing okay Audrey! I have had the same problem with milk, especially 2%. My surgeon told me that I need to stick with fat free or 1%... I tried it but I can't stand too much... Hang in there! Bonnie
