Congrats on advancing to the next stage so smoothly. Take it easy and don't get too over-confident. (Speaking from experience here! ) It's weird how we can have crackers on this phase but not bread. Still, crackers are a WONDERFUL change from LIQUIDS. It's great to be able to chew something!

Wow crackers so soon?? My dr. said to wait 5 months for crackers .. I tried tuna yesterday and it was really dry, I added low fat mayo and still dry but maybe next time, I can eat eggs real well and cottage cheese...I miss the snacking?? So i will have 1 strawberry when I feel I need a snack... Janice 23 days post-op 21pds gone

Every doctor/program is a bit different. Yep, mine said I could have crackers 4-6 weeks out on the soft foods/pureed stage. Melba toast - I never liked it before but now I LOVE it!! But follow your dr's orders. Have you ever tried Italian Ice? It's great for snacking!! Low in calories and it's only a 1/2 cup. (It's a liquid so you can have it) It's sold in with the ice cream section at your grocery store.
