Teri Lynn Update

I spoke with Teri Lynn's husband Fred today and he said Teri Lynn's condition is basically the same. They have cut back on a lot of her meds and her blood pressure and temperature seem to have stabilized. They are probably going to do surgery on Monday to give her a trach and feeding tube. This will buy her some more time. Hopefully with God's strength and her will, she will come back to us. The other option is to decrease her mechanical support and let nature take it's course. He said sometimes it seems as if she's trying to respond to touch or hold her eyes open longer when they are there, but the nurses say that is just reflex movement. The family has had to move on with life and Fred says he is doing better emotionally. They are not ready to give up on her. She has come through something like this before. Please continue praying for a miracle and that Teri Lynn will fight her way back!! Thank you so much for your prayers! Stacie S.

Our prayers for God's will and His peace continue to be with the family. I know it is often hard to just let go and let God... my nephew is in a similar life status and It is so easy to think that they are actively responding, we don't often want to believe that it is just reflex. I pray specifically for Terri Lynn's husband..... he will need all the emotional and spiritual strength possible to deal with Terri's Illness and to make those important decisions during this time in their lifes. Stacie, Thank you so much for giving us an update. She has often come to my mind and when she does, I will always stop and offer up a prayer for both Teri Lynn and her family. Hi Stacie, thanks for posting an update on my sister. Right now I am feeling pretty sad and emotional. Fred is right when you visit her it does feel like she is trying to communicate with her eyes. Time is on her side so we are here for the long haul whatever it takes for Teri Lynn to come back to her family. Your thoughts and prayers are much appreciated. Honestly, thank you doesnt seem adequate or even describe how we feel about the outstanding support you and everyone in your support group have been providing.
