Any one had Lap-Band?

I had Lap-band on 3-14 in the posts all i see is RNY. I am 21 days out and lost about 15 lbs I was thrilled with that progress until i read all the RNY's with 30 lb reduction. and i think you all get to eat way earlier than I am I am to keep on Full liquids for another 2 weeks. I would like to hear how some lap-bands are doing.

Lap Bands tend to lose slower than RNY from what I hear. It's a totally different surgery. But 15 lbs is awesome!! Be happy about that! WOW!! Congrats!! If you click on "MAIN ENTRANCE" above and it'll have "SELECT A FORUM" on left column. There is a Lap-Band forum there. I'm sure they can help you out regarding liquids. But don't compare your loss to others. We all have different bodies and systems and such. You should be THRILLED with your weight loss!! Coudl you lost 15 lbs in 2 weeks pre-op? No!! See!! You are already a success!!
