10 days post op

Hello all! I have finally got the gumption to get off my bootie and post. I am now 10 days post op from my Open RNY. I still have 2 drains, , but hopefully the Davol Drain will come out Tuesday. I have been sleeping on my side for 2 nights now and that is great to me cause I hate sleeping on my back. I don't know if I have lost yet or not cause I haven't weighed but hubby thinks my face looks thinner. I want to thank u all for the prayers and support u have given me. Oh, is depression normal? I am having some problems with it and head hunger. Its driving me nutts. Love and God Bless Angela 10 days post op

I'm 4 weeks out but the hunger is getting better I can't eat that much but I was about to go crazy when I was as far out as you..good luck .. Shelly -33

Good Morning Angela, Yes Hun Post-Op Depression is normal but it will pass. Your Head Hunger will pass as well! It is MIND OVER MATTER. I struggled with it for a while as well. I am glad you are doing GOOD. Congrats on your SLeeping on the side. Keep your head up it will get better. Monika
