Its been 12 days since my surgery and I am down 24lbs!!! I was shocked when my doctor told me. To all of you who may become discouraged even this early, DON'T!! The weight is coming off, don't weigh yourself everyday. I didn't weigh myself at all, I found out when I went to the doctor. I think I will weigh myself once a week, and never compare myself to anyone else's weight loss, because we are all different. Stay strong and much success to you all! God Bless, Angel Awosefaju

Congrats to you on your loss It is such a good feeling to know that you are losing weight!!! I know I was happy!! It makes you want to get up and hehe. Anyways, I am glad to know that you are doing well on the losing side! Keep up the good work Bonnie

I am soooooooo happy for you! I also had the surgery on the 16th but I am only down 17pds. Hey but thats OK...I am over 50 yrs. I started out at 231(pre-op) and then day of surgery 226.5 and today 214 so its coming off. Best of luck to you. Janice

I am 3 weeks out now and have only lost 17 its at a stand still dont know why i hardly eat anything.

Angie, 17lbs in 3 weeks, wow thats great!!! You should be soooooooooo proud of yourself, I'm proud of you, that is a great accomplishment!!! Whats your diet look like? I might be able to give you some really yummy recipes, that will make what you can eat healthy and enjoyable. Hey there send me some recipes please, I try in the morning to eat a strip of bacon & egg and water ,then lunch usely tuna and cheese,supper some type of meat and usely some type of vegtable or beans i think im losing about 1/2 to 1lb a day.I guess thats pretty good been useing my gazell a little more trying to use it 20 minutes without stoping but its hard i have really bad arthritis/But i would love some new recipes.Im having trouble digesting meats.So any good ones let me know. thanks

Cheer up, I'm 3 weeks out and I lost 10.5 pounds.... I am doing everything by the book, today I had my first meal, a soft boiled egg and half a toast for one meal. The rest is protein shakes. I try to get 3 in but I don't always make it.... The doctor keeps telling me we are all different. I am also taking Prednisone and Insulin and that seems to sabotage the weight loss. Hang in there, we have to think long range, it will come off. Hang in there!
