5 Days post-op and counting...

Ok, so I am 5 days post-op and counting. I am doing very well, but I am wondering if I will ever enjoy eating again after bypass surgery. I am on a liquid diet until Friday, then I get to move on to soft foods! YEAH! I am not getting depressed, nor am I angry about it...but I just want to knw if people every enjoy food again. Aiko

It's hard to get excited about liquid foods. But yeah, you'll enjoy foods again. I know people personally that have had WLS and they enjoy foods. They just don't pig out anymore on them. And that's good because that is how we got to trouble in the first place.
