Hello all! My name is Nic and i had my surgery March 30, 2004! I just wanted to pop in and wish you all the very best for a speedy, complication free recovery! It is worth it! IT IS WORTH IT!!!! I started my journey at 291 pounds at 5'6" and almost a year later I am 161! I teach kindergarten and COULD NOT do it at 300 pounds! Anyway today a co-worker and I were walking up the steps of our 3 story building and he said wanna race??? why not I said so there we went running up the steps like the kids. ok so he beat me by three steps but LAST YEAR I would have needed oxygen to do that! and he would have beat me by flights of steps not just steps! Follow your pouch rules, give yourself time to heal and WELCOME to the LOSING side! {{gentle hugs}} for the newly post-ops and {{tighter hugs}} for those of you with a case of nerves still! Nic 291-161-145
