I had mine on 3/4 with Dr. Alexander also! I have been eating tomato soup and I also tried Broccoli and Cheese soup after my wife strained it so I only got the creamy part. It was good for a change. Other than these two items, I have eaten Sugar-free pudding, popsicles and ice cream along with a protein shake every day. Hope your recovery is going well. Chris S.

Chris, I truly believe he is the best surgeon of all! My best friend had her surgery done on Oct 22 and she has lost 81lbs to date and doing wonderful. I didnt use the morphaine pump much which I remember the whole time at the hospital. I just cant wait till I can sleep on my stomach or even side!!!! I called this am because my sinuses are bothering me so much and they said I could take the meds but just crush them. I am feeling pretty good. I have been getting on my treadmill 3x a day for 5 min and I am up to 2mph. I went ahead and put my cambells grilled pork loin with vegetables and beans put it in the blender and heated it up and it was wonderful!!!!!! I hate wasting anything. It sure was wonderful! 5.5 grams per serving in 1/2 cup serving. Yum! Thanks for the response! Sharon

I wish I could help but my stickler of a nutritionist said on week two that we can add strained fat free cream soups....yeah well the only ones I can find are weird flavors like celery or stuff I hate like clam chowder. I will just die if I cannot add something that taste's like actual food on week two Good luck Kelly Z

Get a can of cambell's soup (any kind), make it as normal and then strain it and eat. Yummy! Avoid tomato - too acidic. My fave is cream of chicken, cheddar cheese and pepper jack cheese soups, but have also had cream of broccoli, cream of potato, clam chowder, etc.

Here's a great tomato soup recipe that you can eat hot or cold: 1 28oz can of whole, peeled tomatoes 1 C plain, non-fat yogurt 1 t cumin 2 t worcestershire sauce up to 1 C fresh basil leaves (to taste) puree the tomatoes in a food processor till smooth, then press through a strainer into a bowl (getting rid of the seeds and any left over flesh). Put the puree back into the food processor and add the other ingredients (now, here, I added 4 scoops of flavorless whey protein powder to build the all-important protein count). Blend together in the food processor until smooth and serve, 1/4-1/2 C at a time, hot (which I prefer) or cold. It's fre**** has a tangy taste from the yogurt and I like it!
