I am home 3 days out
Hello eeryone,
I just wanted to post to let you all know I am home..... in ALOT of pain. Seriously god bless those of you who experienced little to no pain. I am religiously using my pain meds and am ready about an hour before I am due for them. Will wake up from a sound sleep in pain. I am looking forward to having better days and have thought several times about wtf I have done to myself. and the good side I really have to force myself to drink my liquids and can never finish what I am given. it might take me 6 hours to get down a cup of fluids. Today is worse than it was before I am noticing that I really already feel full before I start. Starting to think maybe its because I am really not having many bowel movement and that everything is just sitting in there. Well.... I would love to add more but for now this is about all I can do. I hope those who shared my date are doing good. and good luck to those of you going in soon
Hang in there Robin! Every day will get better than the day before! Try to get in as much walking as you can, that really speeds along the healing process. I felt very "full" and bloated for about 5 days until I started having regular bowel movements. That relieved a lot of the pressure. I'm sure you will turn the corner and wake up one morning feeling much better than the night before. Good luck and keep us updated on your progress.

Robin,
I had surgery the same day as you and I feel the same way with being full. The first two days I was not interested in anything but took some water anyway. I came home on Friday and had some broth, jello, two ice pops and was afraid because I didnt feel full. Then Sat and today I feel FULL without even having anything and it is hard to get down 4 vitamins, 1 calcium and 3 meds when you are FULL. Plus I feel thirst all the time and a few sips make me feel like my pouch will explode. I hope this gets better for both of us
