Only 4 days to go!!!!

Hi all, I only have 4 days left until I am on the loser's bench. I am very calm with what is to come. I have waited a lifetime. I still need an angel if anyone has the time. Thanks to everyone for their support. Mikey RN

I'll be joining you on the loser's bench Tuesday! I'd love to be your angel but I'll be going through it with you at the same time just in a different place. My wife is my angel and also a RN so I'll have the best medical care of anyone in the unit. It will continue when I get back home too! Surgery day will be here before you know it!! Congrats on how far you've come so far and I'll pray everything goes smoothly for you!! May your surgery be uneventful and textbook!

Best wishes on your upcoming surgery day! I'm now 10 days out and I feel fantastic. I could care less if I ever eat again - have to force myself to eat. It's such a change from before when I CONSTANTLY thought about food. I had such a peace the few days before my surgery and had no problems and almost no pain. I'll be praying that yours goes as well. I had my surgery 3/07 and it is SCARY how GOOD I feel! I never would have expected how fast I've recovered. I should get the green light to start soft foods on Thursday (I must admit getting tired of protein shakes and pudding), and I should be cleared to drive again! I am walking two blocks a day (gonna stretch it to three this week) and, other than a few minor issues with the incision area, I feel WONDERFUL!! Good luck and see you on the losing side!
