ONE WEEK POST OP!!!!!! WOO HOO !!!

Friday, March 18, 2005 Hello every 1, Just a few lines to keep you all updated. I am one week post up now. The day of my surgery I weight 275 pounds and I stepped on the SCALE for the first time today. I cried when I seen the result! I am at 252 pounds. This means I lost 23 pounds in a week. This is the MIRICAL I was wishing for. I am still on the Liquid diet but also had some Crackers and Cheese the other day & it was awesome. I am not in much pain any more only when I laugh, cough, or sneeze. Other then that I am doing great. The scar is fine no discharge or anything. It actually looks good for only 1 week. The itching is running me Bananas but that is one thing I don't mind. I am glad I am on the LOOSER side now. Thank you all for all the nice notes and all the support. Love Monika

Congrats on 23 lbs!! I hit the 23 lbs mark today but it took me 10 days to get there vs your 7. LOL Itching goes away in a few days. My steristrips are off now and pain is gone now too. Wow! You had crackers & cheese? Gosh, that sounds good! I guess as long as you chew it up really really good it's okay, but stick to liquids for now. Keep up the good work!!

CONGRATULATIONS... I will be one week postop tomorrow! You and I had the same start weight. I also feel about like you do, only in pain when cough or sneeze. Make sure you let me know how you feel next week?? KC

HI', Iam 4 days post op. Pardon me but I feel like ****. Please tell me that this gets better, I feel the same pain wise laugh, cough,sneeze,that's when it hurts. I just feel so run down. I'm so glad for you on your weight loss, that is the most beautiful thing I have ever heard. Congrats. Love, Melisa

KUDOS! I am almost 1 week post-op. I am glad you are doing great. I am doing fine as well. The most difficult part for me is trying to create some variety with my liquid diet. Overall, I must say things are great. Please keep up the good work and continued success. God Bless. Latasha B
