2 wk post op visit today

I saw my Dr today for a 2wk follow up, not a normally scheduled visit but due to my infection and problems I've been having he wanted to check my drain site. I am down 20lbs! That is so exciting! My wound is healing up fairly well. I had my first dumping episode yesterday, dont care to ever ever do that again!

Hi Amy, Congratulations - 20 pounds is great! Sorry to hear you had problems with your wound - hopefully you are on the mend by now. I am having surgery Tuesday (22nd) and my biggest fear is of the dumping so many refer to! Best wishes, Marty

CONGRATS 20lbs in 2 wks awesome! I am 2 weeks preop an I can't wait! i read carnie wilsons book recently and have no desire to dump! keep up the good wk! xoxo jess
